I love outrageous showboating as much as the next man, but there’s no real point in it if it doesn’t achieve anything (unless it succeeds in mercilessly humiliating a leaden-footed full-back).

Step forward Rosenborg’s Daniel Braaten. If “no end product” was in the dictionary, this is what it would look like.

You have to admire the skill, but the woeful air-kick that follows suggests he’s no Kerlon.
